Joe D'Etienne

American trumpeter, arranger, conductor, educator. He was born in Germany in 1963, but of American descent and living in Mexico for several years, D’Etienne trained at North Texas State University. One of his first jobs was in a legendary big band, that of the trombonist Glenn Miller, because although he died in 1944 the organization works to this day. In Mexico, the trumpeter has worked with several generations of jazz players, ranging from Héctor Infanzón, Eugenio Toussaint, Roberto Aymes to Iraida Noriega and Diego Maroto. He leads the Joe d'Etienne Big Band.
