Q Fam

The collective consisted of: QBoy, Ill-Form, scratch DJ MistaMaker, NineBob, Gideon, NOKI, Wayne Latham, Mz. Fontaine, Icykal, Grace Orlando. The group created in 2001 was originally called Q-Form (sometimes listed as Q-Formed) with core members MistaMaker, QBoy and Ill-Form. As new members joined, the group became a collective of queer DJs, hip-hop rappers and R&B singers. Early on fashion artist NOKI alongside DJ's NineBob & Gideon created promoted 'Pac-Man: A Chi-Chi Man Sound' in Brighton and invited QBoy, MistaMaker and Ill-Form to the first event. They connected well and from then on QBoy and MistaMaker were DJs and promoters for 'Pac-Man' and Gideon, NOKI and NineBob became part of the Q-Fam collective.
