Georg Trapp (born around 1920) was an Austrian jazz and entertainment musician (tenor saxophone, clarinet) and band leader. He came from Austria and played woodwinds in Berlin in the early 1940s with Heinz Wehner, on whose recordings he participated for Telefunken; At the beginning of 1942 he was a member of Erhard Bauschke's solo orchestra. On February 6, 1943, Trapp's only recordings were made under his own name; he played with the singer Kary Barnet for Odeon the titles 'One day in heaven', 'Please write a few words', 'Emil was my ideal' and 'I'm in love all day'. His studio orchestra included u. a. Theo Ferstl (trumpet), Willy Berking (trombone), Leo Kripper (saxophone), Franz Mück (piano), Leo Eggenberger (guitar).
