Swedish violinist, player, mandola player and composer, born August 22, 1963 in Fredrika in Västerbotten. Siljebo has been a national player since 1985 and educated at the Gothenburg Academy of Music with Christer Thorvaldsson as head teacher. Siljebo is violinist in "Aurum trio" with Jakob Petrén (piano) & Eva Bartholdsson (vocals). In 2006 they released the album "Augustimöte", which in 2007 was awarded to Little Brother Söderlundh's scholarship, together with Raymond Björling and Pär Sörman. Siljebo also plays in the Tritonus group with Hans Kennemark and Jan-Anders Ernlund, but is also visible with artists such as Alf Hambe. In 1994, Siljebo together with the national player Hans Kennemark started a folk music course for young people from all over Halland. The course initially had only 20 participants, but it has grown to 40 in recent years. From this course, the youth group Hallandsfolk, led by Siljebo, has been added, they were awarded the Halland Academy Award for Olof von Dalin's memory 2018 for their skillful play and the growth of Halland folk music.
