William Edwin “Bill” Woods was born on August 2, 1953 in Camden, Missouri and passed away on December 21, 2019 (Age 66) in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Bill had lived most of his adult life in Warrensburg, MO, where he had owned and operated his own record recording studio Station Studios, Warrensburg, Missouri, and a record label and publishing company named Shadow Records. Bill had an intense love for music and was a spirited song writer. He was talented in playing most string instruments. He was known in the Kansas City area as “Billy Beale”, the Blues Preservationist.
