Guitarist Tom Byrne is a freelance performer, composer, and music educator with over 30 years of professional experience in the St. Louis, Missouri region. In addition to leading his own ensembles on countless public & private performances over the years, Tom has played with many of the area’s finest jazz musicians, including saxophonists Paul DeMarinis & Willie Akins, trumpeter Randall Holmes, bassist Tom Kennedy, pianists Reggie Thomas & Kim Portnoy, and vocalist Ralph Butler, to name but a few. His past performance credits include work with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the MUNY Orchestra, and numerous other musical/theatrical ensembles, as well as with jazz greats Clark Terry, Terrell Stafford, and Matt Wilson.
