Dan Yates

Guitarist in Austin, Texas. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, where he was a member of the band Eddie Beethoven and The Sons Of Fun and wrote songs with Joe Ely. In Lubbock, he met Elyse Gilmore and moved to Austin with her. In Austin, he formed the band Lords Of Love and as a guitarist in the backing band for his father-in-law Jimmie Dale Gilmore as well as Monte Jordan. Yates took a hiatus from music to attend college and work for the Lower Colorado River Authority. He then opened LoudMouth Rentals, a music equipment and instrument rental business.
