Spillemændene Fra Himmerland

Danish traditional folk band from Himmerland, Jutland, which may be seen as originated from the 1950/60's Himmerlands-Spillemændene. On their second LP some of the original musicians were replaced by young folk musicians like Lars Lilholt who would pioneer the folk revival in the 70's in Denmark. Related to [a3800549] and also affiliated with Spillemandsmuseet, a Danish museum for traditional folk music, located in Rebild.
