Dorothy Wade

Professional Violinist, began her career as a guest soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Otto Klemperer in 1937. Since 1954, she has performed under the direction of Igor Stravinsky, [a767788], and Robert Craft. Later as a renowned concert soloist and recording musician, she has appeared for various jazz and pop/rock artists such as Stanley Clarke, George Duke, [a135887], Michael Bolton, and [a12686]. She passed away in February 2007 in Van Nuys at the age of 83.
