Michel Chevalier's childhood took place in the Pyrenees where he became passionate about music and found himself, with friends, in a group called "Les Shake's" in 1969. He is one of the two singers of the formation with a certain [a378971]. In 1971, the group splits up and [a378971] joins "Purple Eruption" then "Présence" while Michel Chevalier "goes up" to Paris to play in the group [a991559] instead of Jo Leb. From 1972, thanks to the producer Georges Aber who was an idol of the 1960's, Michel Chevalier records a dozen singles which will be great radio hits: [m1759431], [r434176], Je Suis Libre D'aimer, [m1508644], [m1291178], [m1256139]. Until the end of the 1970s, he marketed two LPs. Then, Michel Chevalier refocused on his job as a singer and musician, working on stage and in the studio for artists such as Johnny Hallyday, Charles Aznavour or [a188983] among others. In 1986, he participated in a musical project by [a422369] which was recorded on an album entitled [r13296779]. Michel Chevalier appears there with Maurane and Beverly Jo Scott in particular.
