Morgan Blåberg

Swedish classical organ player, born in Tranemo in 1953. His first organ teacher was the cantor of Tranemo, Bertil Grönbäck. In 1970 Morgan (at the age of 17) took a lower organ and cantor degree in Gothenburg, and in 1975 a higher organ and cantor degree at the Gothenburg Academy of Music. The studies then continued for Professor Lennart Svegelius at the Academy of Music's soloist line in organ playing. In the spring of 1977 (when Morgan was 24 years old) the diploma studies ended with a public debut concert in Christinae Kyrka, Gothenburg. He has given concerts all around Sweden and also on Åland, in Germany, Finland, Slovakia, Poland, Italy and the USA, and appeared on Swedish Radio.
