Los Corazas

Ecuadorian musical group with Andean roots, performs their record work mainly with music from the province of Imbabura, both indigenous and mestizo. Members: Bolivar Ortiz (guitar), Segundo Guaña (guitar), Arturo Aguirre (2) (pan flute), Arturo Mena (2) (flute and pingullo) and [a3605211] (flute and pingullo). In 1958, at the initiative of record producer Luis Anibal Granja and under the direction of [a3605211], two records were recorded, [m966832] and [m723642]. In 1961 the Onix label owned by the Recalde family produced another album. On July 6th, 2018 a concert happened at Casa de la Música, Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the band.
