"Hailing from Te Whanganui-a-Tara aka Wellington Aotearoa, Fantails have been in existence since 2010. We're a 3-piece all female punk band who play short, mostly fast, melodic and danceable tunes at house parties and gigs around the country. Our songs explore a healthy balance of politics and nonsense including subject matter such as the popo, doggies, colonisation, corrupt governments, having to deal with dodgy dudes at shows, as well as the all important issue of vegan zombies. We have two releases Shake Your Tail Feather and Matariki Mayhem." Fast punk with diggable poppy leanings, masked with some heaviness. Politically motivated lyrics sung in English, Maori and French make Fantails Fantails.
