The Face (10)

German pop/rock group, formed in Ulm /Danube, Germany in 1969. Signed to recording contract with label "Liberty" in 1970. The lineup (1969-1971) comprised Freddy Gläsel (vocals, guitar), Peter Neugebauer (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Lothar Quick (bass), Andy Tischmann (drums). The founding formation released the single "The Crowd Is High / Wait For My Love" in April 1971. "The Face" then existed in various formations of changing members such as : Andy Tischmann, Lothar Quick, Peter Neugebauer, Doris Tischmann, Franz Deutsch, Klaus Peter Schweizer, Mondo Zech, Klaus 'Bello' Bellmann, ... until 1980. ==> also see formation since 1978: the group " Face (78) "
