Об исполнителе:
American film actress and dancer. Born August 12, 1917 in Buhl, Idaho, USA. Died February 1, 1997 in Manhattan Beach, California, USA. She began her film career at the age 6, then "retired" after only a few years in favor of a normal education. She returned in the mid-30s, as a teenager this time, this time billed as Marjorie Moore. Her first speaking role was in Murder in Greenwich Village (1937), this time billed as Marjorie Reynolds (her first husband's last name), a moniker she kept for the rest of her career. She appeared in more than 50 films, including the 1942 musical Holiday Inn, in which she and Bing Crosby introduced the song "White Christmas" in a duet, albeit with her singing dubbed by Martha Mears. She did sing (and dance) in other movies without overdub including "On A Swing Shift" from the movie Star Spangled Rhythm (1942).
