Scheffel-Trio

The "Scheffel Trio" was founded as a German (GDR-) jazz and singing group in the early 1950s. The namesake and leader of the music group was Karl Scheffel. The group had some releases in the GDR and the USSR. Scheffel left the GDR shortly before the Berlin Wall was built and was unable to rejoin the entertainment industry in West Germany, thus ending the ensemble.
