Joe E. Neubauer is, or was, a singer who worked in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. His one known album contains decent original ballads with above-average full orchestrations, albeit played slightly out of tune. A construction worker and stock car racer by day, and a polyester-clad musical powerhouse by night, Joe E. Neubauer risked everything he had to create Love Got In My Way, which was originally released in 1975 on an enigmatic, ill-fated vanity label from South Florida.
