Hans-Martin Müller

German flutist, born 1952 in Geldern. Father of Dr. Urs Benedikt Müller. From November 1974 until November 2014 assistant solo flutist at [a653372] From 1977 until 2002 teacher at the Cologne conservatory (Musikhochschule Köln). In 1986 Hans-Martin Müller founded the LOFT, a concert room and recording studio in Cologne, near the conservatory. In 1987 the LOFT moved to a new location in Ehrenfeld. He has been organizing concerts with improvised and contemporary music at Loft, Köln since 1989. Concert recordings have been issued on CD by the associated label/publisher 2nd Floor Edition and on a number of other labels.
