German Carreño Y Su Orquesta

Colombian group. Germán Carreño Y Su Orquesta was created at the beginning of 1983 in the city of Medellín by the Bumangués musician Germán Carreño Pinzón who, after having participated as a trumpet player in the group "Fruko y sus Tesos" and having formed with Jairo Paternina "El Combo de las Estrellas", decides to form his own musical group. He recorded his first album of 45 rpm for Discos Fuentes in January 1983 in the city of Medellin with the songs "Boga Barquero" and "Morena Te Vas Conmigo".The cumbia "Boga Barquero", quickly becomes a national success and manages to be at the top of the national listings. It also transcends borders and is located as a success in Ecuador Mexico and throughout Central America
