Max En Betsy Anders

Rinus Spenner and Betsy van Staveren were a singing duo from 1964 until 1971. They're songs were aimed at the Northern audience of The Netherlands, mainly the city and the province of Groningen. Although no Top 40 hit, their single 'In 't Olle Groningen' was very popular in the mid sixties. Their only Top 40 hit was the 1964 single 'De wind steekt op' b/w 'Zwaluw ach zwaluw', it spent two weeks on the lower part of the chart.
