Valentin Farcaș

Was born in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania in 1952. Studies at the University of Music “Gh. Dima ”/ Cluj-Napoca. 1986 performance of Joaquin Rodrigo's “Concierto de Aranjuez”. Appearances at international music festivals, including in Poland and Hungary. Compositions of film and theater music (including "Ubu Roi", "Der Soldat Swejk"). 1983 first prizewinner at the international classical guitar competition in Sinaia. Recordings at Electrecord, Bucharest, as well as numerous radio and television recordings. Living in Germany since 1987. Years of activity as a music teacher at various Bavarian singing and music schools. Performances with classical guitar music as well as experimental electronic music . Tours in southern Germany, Switzerland and France. Recordings at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Founder of the rock band "Starfighter" (Munich). Participation in the international rock festivals "Stufstock" 2006 and 2007. CD recordings at "Softrecords" Bucharest.
