The Pin Ups (5)

The Pin Ups were a power pop/pop rock band from Houston, Texas, founded in the late 1970s by Chris Lesikar and active into then 1980s. The original lineup was Chris Lesikar on bass and lead vocals, Jack Lebert on guitar and vocals, and Toby Davis on drums. Manuel Martinez then replaced Lebert on guitar and Rick Holeman replaced Davis on drums, with Terry Carolan joining as an additional guitarist. Carolan and Holeman were let go from the band and moved on to The Flirt/True Hearts. The Pin Ups went through further incarnations, including as a trio with Chris Lesikar on bass and vocals, Donnie Sabo on guitar and vocals, and Toby Davis on drums. In 1983, the band was reformed with Chris Lesikar on bass and vocals, Terry Carolan on guitar and Joe Shiro on drums. Kip Milwee was added to the band on keyboards and vocals but the group eventually dissolved.
