Venezuelan Singer. Víctor Jiménez was born in Los Teques, Miranda state, Venezuela in July 4th, 1950. Jiménez started his musical career in 1960 with The Pets (5), a Pop rock band along side his brother Trino Jiménez also musician, their first success came with a cover of "Hello, I Love You", titled "Hola, Te Quiero", originally recorded by "The Doors". In 1972 Jiménez started his carrer as soloist vocalist and in 1975 got a success with a single, "Shikin' Down". In 1976 Jiménez took a new path dedicating his job in exclusive to the studios. In 1978 came back as singer for a short time recording "Fue Solo un Sueño" and "Y Mañana". The master [a1031165] extended an invitation to Jiménez to record with the reverenced orchestra [a3501102] on the LP [r5756942], Jimenéz recorded "A Pesar de Usted", a song composed by Chico Buarque.
