Zhu Changyao

Zhu Changyao, born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a Chinese erhu performer, composer, and teacher. He's also the current Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager and Art Director of Jiangsu Performing Arts Group. He learned erhu performance at the age of 7 and entered the " Nanjing Xiaohonghua Art Troupe " at the age of 12 . In 1973, he was admitted to the Music Department of Nanjing University of the Arts with excellent results and was carefully nurtured by famous teachers An Hua, Gan Tao , Ma Youde and others. In 1996, Zhu Changyao was appointed as the dean of Jiangsu Song and Dance Theater. On April 2, 2015, the Vice-Chairman of the Ninth Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles was elected at the 9th and 8th Representative Conference of Jiangsu Province.
