Anand Bennett

His dad is percussionist/teacher Frank Bennett; his mom is renowned Indian vocalist/veena player Geetha Bennett. He's Anand Bennett. A graduate of California Institute of the Arts, he studied and played jazz violin for a while, but later became more interested in the mandophonic side of things. Now he plays string bass and this 5-string Michael Spalt electric mandocello with L.A.'s Arohi Ensemble.
