Lionel Dorlette

Singer-songwriter-musician, born in Haiti and founding member of Haitian group Shupa Shupa, Lionel Dorlette relocated to Canada in the late 70's where he played with (among others) pianist [a7179879], Jazz Ottawa, Mexican Connection, and he recorded 3 albums with Canadian calypso-reggae band New Connection (aka, New Connection Band) before releasing his solo LP [r6591271] in 1979
