Richard Cromelin

As a writer and editor, Cromelin has covered the pop music world since the early 1970s, primarily on the staff of the Los Angeles Times for more than 30 years. As a freelancer, he wrote for a range of music publications, including Rolling Stone, Creem, Circus, Phonograph Record, New Musical Express, et al., reporting to such editors as Dave Marsh, Lester Bangs and Jon Landau. Produced biographies and other promotional materials for record labels, including Beach Boys and Van Morrison histories for Warner Bros Records, liner notes for a Move album on United Artists and radio ads for artists on Warner Bros. and A&M Records.
