American steel guitar player from Hawaii. Born 1915 in Agana, Guam. He moved to Hawaii in 1922. He retired to Kaua'i and died 1992. He was married to singer [a3232316]. He was a steel guitar player in high school band during his sophomore year. He was steel guitarist for The Islanders at the Surf Room on the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. He toured Japan for six months in 1963, with Sol Bright bandleader. He played with Sonny Kamahele, Benny Kalama, Merele Kekeke, Walter Mo'okini, Genoa Keawe, Violet Pahu Lilikoi, Pua Almeidaand and many others. He was a great follower of fellow Hawaiian steel guitarist Tommy Castro (2), who he would he was constantly trying to find latest techniques and tunings from. He played on Hawai'i Calls radio show during the 1970's until its closing date in 1975. He played four-part harmony on steel guitar with Jules Ah See, each playing two strings. He played steel on "Gidget Goes Hawaiian".
