Albric Frank

Belgian Singer from Aalst. °1935. He was the drummer and singer of Jazz-trio Alberic Frank. Named after the three founders of this band: ALBert Arijs - Piano, ERIC De Man -Bass and FRANCois Steenhaut - Drums and Vocals. Later Eric was replaced by Jef De Vos of Sandy And The Voodoos. François took the artistname Albric Frank and somewhere in 1974 he made only one record [r5168305] which are flemish covers of "Singing In The Rain" (Side A) and "Just Smile And Say Hello" on Side B. Live he did gigs with [a3707484], [a3601656], [a462938] and many other local musicians from Aalst.
