Об исполнителе:
The Jolly Brothers Band were the featured band at Jerry's Westport Country Playhouse, Kansas City, Missouri. The band’s debut album, “Typical Barroom Scene,” recorded during a three-night January 1978 stand at a Kansas City club. Soon, the Jolly Brothers Band was trekking across the country -- for a time, in a converted school bus, headlining gigs and opening for Little Feat as well as bands such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds. The Jolly Brothers Band went through three more iterations before folding altogether. Band members’ devotion to their craft didn’t end when the band broke up, however. Norman and Al Jolly have performed and recorded together and separately. Other band members played with notable artists including Brewer and Shipley, Herman’s Hermits, The Drifters and Ty England and opened, in various contexts, for acts the likes of John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Willie Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker.
