Ray James (2)

Ray James (a.k.a. "Ray Rough") is a guitar player and singer who has played in a steady stream of popular local bands since his days at Clayton High School. James has a fascination with early British rock, as evidenced by his forming of Long John Thomas and the Duffs, a Merseybeat / freakbeat revival band. In June 2007 James relocated to Chicago. Though there were scores of women across the St. Louis metro area that applauded the move, the truth is that the STL underground rock scene lost a talented musician and able bandleader.
