Childsplay

Childsplay was a string orchestra, based in the Boston/Cambridge area, active from 1986 to 2019. It was centered on players of violins made by Bob Childs (of Arlington, MA) with supporting instruments such as piano, bass, guitar and percussion. The group played mostly fiddle music the Celtic, Quebecois and New England Contra Dance traditions.
