Glen Bulthuis is a singer, songwriter, and musician who was born and raised in California and now lives in Michigan. He plays the guitar (acoustic and electric) and early on used a finger picking style he modeled after James Taylor and John Hartford. He started performing in while in High School and began songwriting while attending Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI - writing songs about California, Calvin College, his faith, and girls. He has released a total of 7 albums - a mixture of live and studio recordings. His first album "Misled" ([r5264069]) was recorded in 1980, followed by his second titled "Album" ([r5287970]) in 1981. Other later releases include both live albums and studio recordings including "The Undutchables" recorded live in 1988, “Glenn Bulthuis and the Tonedeafs Greatest Hits (1977-2007)" released in 2008 and an original Gospel album called “Gloryland” with Debra Perry and Majestic Praise released in 2012.
