Gerardo Farez, keyboard player, drummer, composer and artistic producer, was born in Gran Buenos Aires. He is currently leading his project, in parallel to being a keyboard player for Tremor, Palo Pandolfo and Ignacia. In recent years he has recorded analog synthesizers and keyboards on more than 80 albums and singles and has performed live concerts accompanying more than 40 bands and soloists in Argentina, among them Palo Pandolfo and La Hermandad, Leo Garcia, Tan Bionica, Carca, Ignacia, Viva Elastico, Ivan Noble, Gordon Raphael (producer of The Strokes), Abril Sosa, Edu Schmidt, Erica Garcia, Charlie Desidney, Fede Cabral, Sancamaleon, and Chancha Via Circuito. He also participated in the festivals Lollapalooza, Roskilde, Womex, Cosquin Rock, Quilmes Rock, Pepsi Music, Festival BUE, Creamfields, Hot Festival, Vive la Música, Ciudad Emergente, Provincia Emergente, Festival Musica and in the main stadiums, theaters and stages of Buenos Aires. In 2018 he participated with Tremor in the closing of the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina. In December 2019 he plays with Palo Pandolfo in the presidential inauguration at Casa Rosada. In 2014, he created the project Gerardo Farez and La Marea Oceánica, accompanied by musicians Vanina Becares and Leandro Troiano, recording the first album titled LOTUS, produced by Charlie Desidney and Gerardo Farez, released in 2016 by Twitin Records, a label founded and curated by Argentine musician and producer Tweety González. In 2017 his second studio work is released, the EP ECOS artistically produced by Tweety González.
