The Dandelion People

Short-lived Cleveland, OH (USA) band fronted by singer/guitarists Anna Nausea (Anne-Marie Kovach, formerly of The Walk-Ins), Eugenia Dare and Howard Micenmacher with a rhythm section of Kid Keenan (drums), Artimus Broccoli (percussion) and Michael Ruven (bass). They released a sole 4-song tape EP in 1991. The track "9 Reasons Why" appeared on the first Sound Of The Sea Records compilation, "They Showered Us With Beads And Flowers" in 1991 (as "Nine Reasons Why"). Micenmacher and Keenan would go on to form Al's Fast Freight when The Dandelion People broke up, and Anna Nausea would release a solo album, "Am I Annoying, Yet?" in 1993. She and Micenmacher are married.
