Sam Nowlin

Obscure blues/stride pianist who recorded three sides, in Richmond, Indiana, on October 8, 1934, for the Champion label. Only two tracks were issued, the third selection, "Riff", remains unissued. Apart from playing, he is credited as co-composer of "Blue Blazes" together with Sy Oliver.
