Electrologues

Electrologues is a project dedicated to musical improvisation and to the exploration of new multimedia technologies. It was created in 2011 and is composed by two artists with different musical backgrounds, originating from Portugal and Venezuela. The project is based in Paris and is founded on the constant creative drive of its members to create original projects and to explore their research. The goal of Electrologues is to create a type of “sound laboratory” based on several approaches to music: electroacoustic and live electronics. Improvisation becomes the framework for creating sound actions implemented by the two musicians interacting with other artistic expressions such as dance or video creation. Founded by João Fernandes and Gabriel Peraza, the group Electrologues is interested in the dissemination and development of the practice of improvisation.
