Clinton Broussard

Zydeco accordionist and guitarist from Louisiana. He started playing at the age of 8 with his dad’s zydeco band, Delton Broussard and the Lawtell Playboys. From 1979 to 1984 he had his own band, Clinton Broussard and the Zydeco Machines. Broussard plays the triple row accordion, as opposed to the piano style favored by others. He has played through the years with several notable artists, including Roscoe Chenier, Lil' Buck Sinegal and Marcel Dugas. Zydeco musician Jeffery Broussard is his younger brother.
