Ralph Guenther

American banjo player, upright bass player, singer, and songwriter. Born c.1918 Died December 5, 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio at age 88. He was a staff bassist for King Records for 10 or 12 years during the forties and fifties. He began the duo The Saloonatics with pianist [a7522709]. They performed at local Cincinnati, Ohio clubs--the Old Saloon, The Gibson Girl Lounge, Joe's Bar at the Terrace Hilton, and the Lookout House among others.
