Mark Abramson

American engineer, record producer, film director, visual artist and therapist. Married to actress Janet Young (1967). Abramson was hired by Elektra Records founder [a275444] in 1958 and became the company's first combination engineer/producer. In addition to music production, Abramson directed art films and Elektra's short films promoting [a48410] and [a56798]. After leaving Elektra, Abramson became more involved in the visual arts, and his photography, paintings and sculpture have been exhibited in numerous galleries.
