Chrism And Fenris

Chrism and Fenris are a West Australian live/experimental/chiptune/glitch duo that were known in the early 2000s Perth electronic scene for their improvised live constructions using Commodore 64 computers, sequencers, drum machines and various digital and analogue effects. These included cheap synths and modulators and an Atari 2600 paddler control used to moderate the C64's sound chip. Beginning in Perth but moving to Melbourne in 2005. They are widely regarded as the first chiptune producers in Western Australia and pioneers of the Australian Chiptune Scene. They have since toured Australia a few times. In 2020 they were recognised for their contributions to West Australian music with a permanent inclusion into the West Australian Music Archive at The State Library of Western Australia.
