Necrophor

Necrophor was founded with the purpose to spread ”The Word of Chaos” by Henrik Eriksson (YX) in late 2012. Shortly afterwards he recruited two of his old comrades from Stormrider (2) and the project came to life. Between 2013 and 2015 the trio recorded three 3-track promos that were released as free downloads and received some good press. A few tracks appeared on different “sound-check cd’s” and compilations, Terrorizer Magazine being among them. In 2016 they entered Sunlight Studio for a third time, this time with the purpose to record a full-lenght. It took almost 6 months from start to a finished album, not wanting to rush through any step of the process. The full-lenght was released by Sliptrick Records in May 2017 and was titled "Reborn". “Like it, hate it or just be indifferent – it does not matter. “The Word” will take root and in due time manifest itself within the depths of your being” Line-Up: Henrik Eriksson - Vocals (2012 - ) Henrik Larsén - Guitar (2012 - ) Mikael Strandberg - Drums (2012 - ) Björn Sundling - Bass/Guitar (2016 - ) The band has been officially disbanded by Henrik Eriksson due to having received two neurological diseases, one of which is still an "unknown neurological disease".
