Юрий Холопов

Yuri Kholopov (August 14, 1932, Ryazan - April 24, 2003, Moscow) - Soviet and Russian musicologist and teacher, creator of a new doctrine of harmony. Doctor of Art History, Professor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1995), Member of the European Academy. Author of about 800 published works, including 10 monographs. Brother of musicologist Valentina Kholopova = Валентина Холопова.
