Bernard Laigre

Leader conductor of Accordéon-Club D'Argentan. Born in 1936 in Athis-de-l'Orne, Bernard Laigre could have become an electrician, it is in any case in this way that he committed himself. But quickly he turns to the piano with straps. First by animating the balls around Flers, Athis or Briouze, in the early 1950s. The young man is gifted and continues to train in Paris, at the school of the Accordion-club of France. After two years of giving accordion lessons in Flers, in 1963 he moved to Argentan. Thus began a 45-year adventure: in the company of his wife, he animates and directs this school located between rue Saint-Martin and rue Magny, very close to the current inter-municipal music conservatory. He passed away July 7th, 2018. He was 82.
