Τζων Βεϊνόγλου

John Veinoglou was a pioneer of the Greek radio broadcasting, radio director, and historical researcher. Originally from Asia Minor. He was one of the first radio announcers of the radio in Greece, launched in May 1938. During the 1950s and 1960s his voice was heard on several radio commercials. After his retirement, he engaged in historical researches as well as studies of intellectual pursuits. As it was natural and as is well known, in historical matters his main interest centered on his roots in Ionia and especially Smyrne.
