Lotta Sandberg

Swedish singer (mezzo-soprano), originally Ingrid Egge, also known as Lotta Sandberg, born May 21, 1941 in Hedvig Eleonora parish, Stockholm. She is the daughter of Lars Egge and Isa Quensel. Under her maiden name Ingrid Egge she was originally active as an actress. But after graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm in 1963, she began a career as an operetta and musical singer. In 1967, she joined Fickteatern and then completely changed her musical direction. Under her married name Lotta Sandberg (vocals, keyboards) she participated in 1972–1975 on music albums with Arbetets Söner & Döttrar together with her daughters Annie and Rebecka Glaser (both singing), and Löpande bandet as well as on Rolf Wikström's first solo album. Lotta Rosenström was first married in 1961–1963 to Tom Fahlén, second time 1963–1969 to Etienne Glaser, third time 1969–1974 to Mårten Sandberg, and the fourth time 1977–1982 with Christer Rosenström.
