Gaetan Lepine

Canadian Songwriter, The bartender who discovered Stompin' Tom Connors Gaetan Lepine was tending bar at the Maple Leaf Tavern in Timmins, Ontario, Canada when a tall, skinny drifter walked in with a guitar. Lepine offered him a beer for a song, and the legend of Stompin' Tom Connors was born. The two men became lifelong friends and collaborators. (Sometimes spelled Gaeten Lepine)
