Donald M. Wilson (b. 1937) is an American composer, radio producer, music educator, member of the American Composers Alliance (since 1967) and professor emeritus at the Bowling Green State University. He was born in Chicago and studied composition with Karel Husa and Robert Palmer at Cornell University and with Gunther Schuller at the Berkshire Music Center. In 1965, Wilson became the first music director at the educational FM station in Philadelphia (now known as WHYY-FM). He produced over 80 radio programs in the annual "New Music Festival" series from 1983 to 1995. Donald joined BGSU music faculty in 1967 and taught music theory, analysis and composition there for over three decades. He also secured initial funding to launch BGSU Electroacoustics studio in 1970 and served as a chairman of the Music Composition/History Department in 1973–77 and 1994–98. He became a founding member of the Christian Fellowship of Art Music Composers in 1995 and was elected to CFAMC's Board of Directors three years later.
