The Lures

Indie rock/punk band from Athens, Georgia. The band began in 1995 with founding members Jason Slatton and Russ Hallauer writing and recording together with a revolving roster of musicians. In 1997, bassist Larry Tenner and drummer Clay Leverett joined as permanent members. The group disbanded in 2001 following the release of their second album.
