Producer, engineer (July 10, 1947 to Jan. 27, 2015) Instrumental in launching Festival International de Jazz de Montréal and creating the long-running and influential Canadian Broadcasting Corporation radio show "Jazz Beat", which aired from 1983 to 2007 Recorded his first jazz concerts for the program Jazz en liberté in 1972.
